Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Wealth in Question ("we", "us") operates wealthinquestion.com, a free weekly publication on markets, macroeconomics, geopolitics, and energy. For any privacy question or request, contact us at contact@wealthinquestion.com.

2. What data we collect and why

Newsletter email address. If you subscribe, we collect your email address so we can send you each new issue. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us. Subscriptions are processed by MailerLite (MailerLite Limited, Ireland), which stores subscriber data on our behalf. We never sell, rent, or share your email address with anyone else.

Analytics. We use GoatCounter, a privacy-focused analytics service. It does not use cookies, does not track you across websites, and does not build a profile of you. It gives us aggregate counts such as page views and referral sources.

Hosting logs. The site is hosted by Netlify, which may process standard technical data (such as IP address and browser type) in server logs for security and delivery purposes.

Fonts. Pages load typefaces from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser requests the font files from Google's servers, which involves transmitting your IP address to Google.

Cookies. This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Interacting with the email signup form may cause MailerLite to set strictly functional cookies needed for the form to work. Your dark mode preference is stored locally in your own browser and never leaves it.

3. How long we keep data

Subscriber email addresses are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, after which they are removed from our mailing list. Aggregate analytics contain no personal data and may be kept indefinitely.

4. Your rights

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access, rectify, and erase your personal data; to restrict or object to its processing; to data portability; and to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (in Italy, the Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali). To exercise any of these rights, email us and we will respond within 30 days.

5. Children

This site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

6. Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with an updated date. Material changes affecting subscribers will be announced by email.
